This course outlines the methods of bringing God’s Word to others through preaching and teaching. It explores the ways in which the word we preach and teach becomes the Word of God. It also examines the necessary preparation of the minister and of the hearer and investigates the process by which true ministry takes place.

Analyze special problems involved in interpreting scripture.
Comprehend the process of the canonization of the scriptures.
Be able to compare modern English translations of the Bible.
Gain a greater appreciation and desire to propagate the giving and receiving of God’s Word today.

MEET THE FACULTY MEMBER
Dr. William Charles Suttles has more than thirty years of ministerial experience as a pastor, teacher, communicator, discipler and administrator. He has ministered from the pulpit, on radio and television and in the classroom. He holds earned degrees in history, Christian ministry, theology, and philosophy of religion. Dr. Suttles has a calling from the Lord to train and oversee men and women in Christian ministry.
