“The Book of Daniel” describes the life, times, trials, and character of Daniel and the literary work bearing his name.

This course presents him and his three friends, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah – God’s “faithful four” – as types of overcomers shining in the darkness of apostasy and enduring severe-but-beneficial tests.

It also expounds the principal visions and prophecies of the Book of Daniel, linking them to other biblical apocalyptic writings.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
A. Know and recall the life, times, trials, works, prayers, writings, and people of Daniel. (Knowledge)

B. Understand the characters, events, principles, types, and prophecies described by Daniel, such as: the righteous remnant, overcomers, trial by fire, the Captivity, the times of the Gentiles, etc. (Comprehension)

C. Apply the principles and prophetic revelations of the Book of Daniel to his (or her) personal life, so he may live as Daniel lived, overcome his trials, and thereby be fully prepared for the future. (Application)

D. Construct teachings that explain to others the characters, events, principles, types, and prophecies of the Book of Daniel. (Synthesis)

E. Analyze informational, inspirational, and prophetic teachings derived from the Book of Daniel to determine their accuracy. (Analysis and Evaluation)

ABOUT REV. GREG HINNANT
Greg Hinnant is a Regent and Advisory Council member with CLST-Global. He is ordained and licensed by Evangel Fellowship International.

His present teaching and writing ministries are founded on years of devotional and systematic study of the Bible and Christian history, and have been strongly influenced by the teachings of some of the masters of the spiritual life, such as Oswald Chambers and A. W. Tozer.
