This course presents a practical framework for planting a new church. Beginning with a brief history of the early church and a look at the “call” to a biblical church plant, the material focuses primarily on the hands-on aspects of church planting.

GOALS OF THE COURSE
-Understand the major aspects and considerations of starting a church.
-Gain knowledge in key areas of church functions.
-Identify and apply the biblical model of the early church to our current cultural context.
-Examine practical applications for implementing a healthy church.

MEET THE FACULTY MEMBER
Dr. Stacy R. Remus holds degrees in music therapy, psychology, Christian counseling and theology. Her work has focused on discipleship, counseling, deliverance, teaching, music ministry, and most recently, chaplaincy. Stacy and her husband, Andy, pastor Bluff View Church, a newly planted, fast-growing church family in Arpin, WI.
